Individuals and members

1.  Buy online from this site by selecting (in print) titles from the Titles A-Z list and clicking the 'Buy Now' button on the right-hand side of the page for that title. (Or from the psychiatric specialty page, or recent titles page.)

2.  Telephone the College Book Sales office on +44 (0)20 3701 2551 (open 9.30am to 4pm UK time).  Please have your debit/credit card details to hand.

3.  Fax the order form to +44 (0)20 3701 2761 (with debit/credit card details).

4.  Post the order form to: Book Sales, Royal College of Psychiatrists, 21 Prescot Street, London, E1 8BB, UK (with debit/credit card details or cheque).

A postage & packing charge is payable for online orders.  More details on our delivery charges.

Please note, eBooks can only be bought online.  We cannot take orders for eBooks over the telephone, or by post/fax.

All members of the Royal College of Psychiatrists are entitled to 10% off the price of all RCPsych Publications products (when bought directly from the College - simply quote your membership number when placing an order - online or by phone).

Returns Policy (Individuals)

This is the returns policy for individual orders placed online or directly with the College.  For UK trade returns please contact Turpin Distribution (details above).

If an item has been supplied incorrectly, or is damaged, please contact us to discuss the best means of return. We shall reimburse you for the item and return postage.

If you want to return an item for any other reason, you may do so within 7 days of receipt at your own cost. We shall refund the cost of the goods, providing the goods are in perfect re-saleable condition.

In all cases authorisation for any returns must be granted by the College Book Sales office prior to returning goods. Please call us on +44 (0)20 3701 2551 (9.30am to 4pm UK time, weekdays) or email For your own protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

DVDs, CD-ROMs, videos & tapes: Returns will only be accepted if goods arrive damaged or faulty. We regret that we cannot refund when DVDs, CD-ROMs, videos or tapes have been used.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
