National Clinical Audits & 360 Appraisal Systems

National Clinical Audits

National Audit of Dementia   National Audit of Dementia (care in general hospitals). Admission to a general hospital can be a difficult and distressing event for people with dementia and is often associated with a worsening in their condition. This audit will help to identify structures, clinical practice and standards affecting people with dementia in general hospitals across England and Wales and to look into priority areas for improvement of services for people with dementia.

Prescribing Observatory for Mental Health - UK   Prescribing Observatory for Mental Health-UK (POMH-UK) helps mental health services monitor and improve prescribing practice. The project provides a range of services to members (Trusts and private healthcare organisations). The core are fully supported programmes of clinical audit, individualised benchmarking reports and a range of change interventions to help improve practice.

National Clinical Audit of Psychosis (NCAP) is a three-year improvement programme which aims to increase the quality of care that NHS Mental Health Trusts in England and Health Boards in Wales provide to people with psychosis. Commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership on behalf of NHS England, NCAP is the next phase in the development of the National Audit of Schizophrenia.

NCAAD   National Clinical Audit of Anxiety and Depression (NCAAD) was developed following the findings of the National Audit of Psychological Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (NAPT) which took place between 2010-2014. NCAAD is a three-year improvement programme, which was established to improve the quality of NHS-funded care provided to service users with an anxiety and/or depressive disorder in England.
