The Royal College of Psychiatrists Improving the lives of people with mental illness
Cover of Where There is no Psychiatrist

What can your donation fund? — Example project

Where There Is No Psychiatrist is a manual for areas where people don't have ready access to mental health care.

  • We're raising money to try to make the second edition of this invaluable book available as free-to-view.

“Where there is no Psychiatrist” is not designed as a substitute for excellent face-to-face clinical support, but in so many countries, this is simply not available. A publication which can be easily accessed and shared by many enables health care professionals and community workers to care for their mentally ill patients. Without this knowledge, the gap would be even more critical.

Please donate and help us improve access to mental health care for people in areas with poor health provision. You can make a difference!

If you are a UK tax payer, every £1 you donate can be worth £1.25 to us under the Gift Aid scheme.

  • I am a UK taxpayer and pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that can be reclaimed on my donation
  • I do not pay tax and /or this statement does not apply to me.
