CPD Online is an
e-learning website, from the Publications department of the Royal
College of Psychiatrists, which provides learning modules using a
range of multimedia techniques. It can be used for up to 25
hours towards your CPD requirements.
Learning modules are all peer-reviewed
and provide a dynamic and rich information source to improve your
knowledge, help you acquire new skills quickly, and enable you to
keep up to date with new research and best practice in psychiatry.
There are currently over 120 modules and 55 podcasts to choose
from and new ones are being developed all the time.

As self-teaching and flexible working
become increasingly important, a growing demand for online learning
has developed. CPD Online is a high-quality interactive learning
experience with links to further resources such as journal
articles, external websites and events.
CPD Online may be used to acquire up
to 25 hours that can contribute to your continuing
professional development (CPD) requirements - this is
half your annual requirement. Most modules take
between 30 minutes and an hour to finish and on successfully
completing each learning module you can print out a certificate for
your records.

Users need to have a paid subscription
in order to access most of the CPD Online website.
