The Royal College of Psychiatrists has
made full-text access to the online-version of three of its
journals (The British Journal of Psychiatry, The
Psychiatrist and Advances in Psychiatric
Treatment) free to the developing countries listed below. No
registration or activation is required from these countries and the
mechanism will allow free online journal access to the vast
majority of both institutions and individuals in the chosen
countries.

This list of developing countries was
collated from the World Bank list of lowest income countries and
the OECD list of countries qualifying for Official Development
Assistance based on per capita GNP. The College is dedicated to the
principle of barrier-free dissemination of scientific information
and makes the content of all its journals freely available to all
countries 1 year after publication.
