All content published by the Royal College of Psychiatrists is protected by copyright. This includes journals, items from RCPsych Publications (books and multimedia), CPD Online, Trainees Online, public education materials (patient leaflets) and all of our website content.

If you want to reproduce any of this content, we are usually happy to give permission, though in many cases we will charge a fee.


Use of journal and book content

If you wish to reproduce excerpts from Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) books or journals published or made available by Cambridge University Press, please complete a permissions request form.

Use of leaflets and other content from our website

Leaflet may be downloaded, printed out, photocopied and distributed free of charge as long as the Royal College of Psychiatrists is properly credited and no profit is gained from its use. Permission to reproduce it in any other way must be obtained from thomas.kennedy@rcpsych.ac.uk. The College does not allow reposting of its leaflets on other sites, but allows them to be linked to directly.

Permission requests for anything else on the College website – including College Reports, Position Statements and Occasional Papers - should be sent to thomas.kennedy@rcpsych.ac.uk.
