Vacancies on Psychiatric Trainees Committee

Pre- and post-membership trainees from the following Divisions are invited to submit a nomination to join the PTC to represent their Division. Please see the PTC webpage for more information on how to submit your nomination in the following divisions:

  • RCPsych in Scotland

  • RCPsych in Wales

  • North West

  • South Eastern

  • Trent

  • West Midlands

MRCPsych Panel Vacancies

The College wishes to appoint consultant members to the Clinical Topics Panel, for two years in the first instance. We are particularly interested in hearing from those who specialise in the fields of Psychotherapy, Substance Misuse, Forensic Psychiatry and Learning Disability.

The post is voluntary and appointees will be expected to attend at least 50% of meetings per year and contribute remotely on a regular basis. Expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with College policy.

The deadline for applications is Friday 26 January 2018 at 11am, with interviews scheduled at the College on Tuesday 13 February 2018.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Procedures on Recruitment and Appointment before completing the Application Form. Please also include your CV if you wish and a statement (no more than 450 words) indicating expertise, experience and interest in this area of work, to the Chief Examiner, Peter Bowie. A Confidential Reference form must also be submitted directly from your referee.
