About the Eastern Division

The Eastern Division of The Royal College of Psychiatrists is one of the new Divisions to emerge from the 1997 restructuring. It is coterminous with the Eastern NHS Region.

The Executive Committee meets quarterly and there are two academic meetings per year. We aim to have the Annual General Meeting in the spring located in Cambridge and a second meeting in November, at another centre in the region. We welcome suggestions for the content of the meetings and aim to combine key clinical and service issues with a strong academic content.

The Executive Committee is keen to hear the views of members from around the Region on any issue and to report these back to the College.

The Division Office is committed to providing members with a fast and efficient service and to enable this to happen members are encouraged to keep their contact details up to date – particularly their email addresses - as this is the main method of communication.

Please let us know if your contact details change.
