WORKFORCE LEAD 

The Division Lead for Workforce should be a Member of the College who has knowledge and an interest in workforce matters relating to the recruitment and retention of psychiatrists.

ACADEMIC SECRETARY

The Academic Secretary will be responsible for all aspects of the academic meetings of the West Midlands division.

Job description

The post-holder will: -

  • be responsible for organising the spring and winter academic meetings (i.e. suggest speakers to assemble an attractive programme in liaison with the divisional office);
  • form part of the prize judging panel to assist with shortlisting (via email) for the Research Presentation Prize at the spring meeting and the Clinical Audit Prize at the winter meeting.

PERINATAL PSYCHIATRY REGIONAL SPECIALITY REPRESENTATIVE 

This role is a senior College position, representing the College on all matters relating to postgraduate education, professional development and the formulating and approval of appropriate job descriptions in psychiatric posts.

  • the name and contact details of two referees (who must be Fellows or Members of the College but not a member of the Education and Training Committee).

All applicants should have held a substantive Consultant or Specialist Associate post for at least 2 years, however this requirement may be reduced to 1 year with the agreement of the Regional Advisor.

NEUROPSYCHIATRY REGIONAL SPECIALITY REPRESENTATIVE
