Foundation Evaluation lead

A new opportunity has arisen for a psychiatrist to lead on a 6-month evaluation project of the psychiatry placements with the Foundation Programme. The post is voluntary, and the appointee should expect, with the agreement of his or her employer, to spend an average of 1 PA per week in the role. The post holder will work closely with the Specialist Advisor for the Foundation Programme and report to the Dean.

The primary role is to undertake a 6-month evaluation of the psychiatry placements within the Foundation Programme through a series of focus groups held around England. This project is funded by Health Education England and will be supported administratively by the Training and Workforce Unit in the Professional Standards Department of the College.
