Trainee Support Group - Members Wanted

The Trainee Support Group monitor and advises the College on issues affecting trainees in psychiatry, including differential attainment. It also considers groups of trainees with particular support needs, including IMGs, those undertaking LTFT training, and those with characteristics protected in equality and diversity legislation in order to identify and promote good practice in these areas.

We're looking for four new members of this group and welcome applications from all psychiatrists with an interest in this area. We would also welcome applications from those involved in training, such as Training Programme Directors or Educational Supervisors.

Please refer to the Job Description. College members who would like to apply for one of these roles should email their brief CV (2 sides of A4) and a covering letter (one side of A4) outlining their experience for this post to by the closing date.

Closing Date: 5pm, 31 January 2018

Interview Date: 15 February 2018

Interviews will be held at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, 21 Prescot Street, London E1 8BB.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend the group’s next meetings on 2 March 2018, 20 June 2018 & 10 October 2018 and the IMG conference on 28 November 2018.
